Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between Mary Anne Chef (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”) and customers (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) via the Mary Anne Chef online store (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).These terms and conditions apply to all contracts for services provided by Mary Anne Chef to its customers.

Conclusion of contract

The contract between the Seller and the Customer is concluded when the Customer accepts an offer made by the Seller on the Website. The Seller’s offer is binding as soon as the Customer has placed the selected products in the shopping cart and completed the order process.

Services

Mary Anne Chef offers the following services:

Rent a Chef: Mary Anne Chef will cook a meal for the customer at their home or event venue. The customer is responsible for providing the ingredients and paying for the transportation costs.

Cooking Class: Mary Anne Chef will teach a cooking class to the customer at her home or at their location. The price of the cooking class includes all ingredients and drinks.

Pop Up Experience: Mary Anne Chef will host a fine dining experience for the customer at her home. The price of the Pop Up Experience includes all food and drinks.

Payment

All prices on the website include the statutory value added tax of 19%. The shipping costs are displayed to the customer before the order is completed.Apply for Online Shop, Pop Up Experience and Cooking Class.

The customer can pay for the ordered goods by prepayment, PayPal or credit card.

For the Rent a Chef Service , customer must pay a 60% deposit 10 days before the event. The remaining 40% must be paid at the end of the event. The customer assume the 100% of the total cost of the purchase required for the realisation of the event.

Delivery and shipping

The ordered goods will be delivered within 3-5 working days after receipt of payment. The shipping costs within Germany are 4,79 € (2 kg), 6.99 € (5 kg), 10,49 € (10 kg) per order.

Right of withdrawal

The customer has the right to cancel the purchase contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The revocation must be made in writing or by e-mail to the seller. The revocation period begins on the day of receipt of the goods.

In the event of withdrawal, the customer must return the goods to the seller immediately. The costs for the return shipment shall be borne by the customer.

Warranty

The seller warrants that the goods sold are free of defects. Defects must be reported to the seller immediately after discovery. The seller has the choice of remedying the defect or exchanging the goods.

Cancellation

If the customer cancels the event less than 3 days before the scheduled date, the deposit will not be refunded.

Food Allergies and Intolerances

The customer must inform Mary Anne Chef of any food allergies or intolerances at least 3 days before the event. Mary Anne Chef will not be responsible for any adverse reactions caused by food allergies or intolerances that she is not aware of.

Taxes

All prices are inclusive of 19% German VAT.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by German law

Jurisdiction

The courts of Munich, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of these terms and conditions.

Additional Terms

Transportation Costs: The customer is responsible for paying for the transportation costs for the Rent a Chef and Cooking Class services. The transportation costs are calculated at €15 per hour and €0.50 per kilometre. No-Show Policy: If the customer does not show up for the event and does not cancel beforehand, the full amount of the event will be charged. Liability: Mary Anne Chef is not liable for any damages caused by food allergies or intolerances that she is not aware of. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
